THE  BLUE FACED HONEY EATER & THE RED BULL ANT

I come across a blue faced honeyeater and managed to get a short video of him before he flew away they are also known as bannabirds . Both males and females are very much the same in appearance and they are common in northern and eastern Australia and southern New Ginea.
The red bull ant is found throughout eastern Australia nd they are solitary hunters taking on prey that is bigger then they are and I can say that they are some of the aggressive creatures you will encounter in the bush .
The red bull ant is a member of the wasp family they have keen vision and sting like a wasp the stinger is coated  rom icing a very nasty and painful sting which can last for days it is one ant you do want at your picnic
