SYDNEY THE MODERN CITY

Sydney a city that grew from less than humble beginnings of a ragtag collection of convicts, soldiers,sailors and free settlers living in tents in the bush by the harbour .
If all those men ,women and children who landed at what is now Sydney Cove back in 1788 on that warm January day what they think of it now if they could see Sydney now ?
A thriving ,bustling modern city of the 21st century a far cry from the camp in the bush far away on the other side of the world did they ever dream that it end up looking like this?
